Door cover falls off.

As an oven, it works fine enough. However, the door cover keeps falling off because the magnets seem to lose strength when the oven grows hot, and resetting them in the door only lasts for a day or so before they weaken and fall off again. Worse yet, the oven door cover is needed to weigh down the door when open, so when it's fallen off, the oven will not stay open for loading or unloading. Additionally, the alarm for the oven timer is thin and soft, and cannot be easily heard from more than half a room away. Overall I would recommend a different product.

Front burners

Bought this range for my parents about 6-7 years ago. The two bigger burners in the front has gone out and the light indicator that tell you that the surface is hot, is always on now and won™€™t go away.

Bad Products and bad service

I purchased this in 2023, and the top glass part broke within a month. I called the GE company, and they came and fixed it in December 2023. In 2025, the top glass broke. I called the Ge and they said I have a pay technician plus the top part of the glass. Altogether, it will cost more than what I spent to buy it. This is one of the bad products

Bad heat sensor when we installed it.

Our heat sensor light has been on ever since we installed the unit. We bought it last year when remodeling our kitchen. When we bought it, we didn't install it right away while we finished the floors. Once we were done, we set it up. The heat sensor light was on and never went off. We thought we connected the power plug wrong so tried a couple ways. Sensor light stayed on and has been on ever since. The retailor wouldn't exchange it because you have 24 hours of purchase to report any issues. We bought it for the value. There's nothing fancy about it.

Wish I could have seen it in person and also saw it being used before I purchased it. While it is functional I™€™m sure over time I™€™ll get used to it. My previous range was also a GE. I purchased it 30 years ago. I was hoping for the same quality and functions. Not thrilled with the outside side panels in this new one. The stovetop surface light does not tell you which burner is hot only says a burner was on. Do not care for the digital oven function. Way too many oven rack functions and they are so close together that I actually put the rack in crooked! The bottom drawer is not as deep as my last on. The sauce pan that I™€™ve always kept in it still fits but not with the lid on it, not even with the lid inverted! And there is an open space in the back above the stovetop surface below the control panel and I can see the dull aluminum back panel it is also has sharp edges. This is certainly a much cheaper version of my old range. Wish I had known before I bought it , I would have upgraded!

Rough Start

First refrigerator made loud grinding sound when turned on. Later deduced to be the fan not being secured, thus it was bouncing all over. Refrigerator was removed. Old refrigerator was already on the truck for removal and putting it back was not really an option. Living out of the garage refrigerator for over a week wasn't fun, but new refrigerator finally arrived and thus far works perfectly.
