Great except for default energy save mode

Great dryer replacing my very similar LG dryer. One star was deducted because with the energy save mode engaged drying time is extended. The reason is that the first 40 minuets in this mode are air dry only. The machine is set by default to the energy saver mode. The quick solution it to use the timer dry mode but that defeats the use of other useful modes. Ive try to defeat this mode but despite youtube videos and others I have not been able to do accomplish this. LG can you help?

Very disappointing Washer and dryer were delivered on 6/20 and my dryer still doesnt work. I called Home Depot on Sunday 6/23 -- was told to call LG. LG isnt open on Sunday. Called Home Depot on 6/24 and then went in person. Deliver team was sent to check installation on 6/29. Was told I would be contacted about a new dryer. Never received a call. Talked to multiple customer service reps. Finally another technician will check the dryer -- again on Tuesday 7/16. One month without a working dryer -- hours spent on this. Very disappointed in Home Depot and LG.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago. It works great. The price was fair. It is definitely a smart appliance. Has so many features that I still havent taken the time to learn to use.
The only bummer was that I downloaded the app as instructed followed all the steps and then was informed by the app that this particular model was not supported by the app.
Hence the 4 stars.

I bought an out of box unit from Bestbuy and was not happy with the purchase. Upon first use it was certain something wrong with the unit. I went back to Best Buy to get support without avail. It is a terrible retail store with such bad customer service. I was able to reach out to LG maintenance that ultimately help me resolve the problem. I do not blame manufacture on this defect as it was open box. I DO BLAME BestBuy for lying to me about the condition of the unit and the subsequent ABSOLUTE POOR customer service provided. I felt it was a gimmick on Bestbuy that they lowered the price to dump the unit then have consumer reach out to manufacture to repair the unit. I HOPE BESTBUY GO BANKRUPT SOON if this is their practice.

We have had ours for a few weeks now and it works great Typically dries on the first run unless its really heavy load. The machine is also very quiet while running.

Love this dryer We only use timed dry because we found that the sensor dry left some items still wet. Maybe if we did smaller loads sensor dry would work better. Time will tell

Buying this dryer and washer was a big mistake. First and foremost neither machine have inside lights Its 2023 are you kidding me? Didnt occur to me I had to check that out. Additionally the setting normal doesnt adjust to high temperature making it take forever to dry clothes.
Im so disappointed and unhappy with this major purchase.

i had LG before they work great ..till my washer broke i had them for 14 years so we purchase a set but wen we got them deliver and install the dryer had a terrible rattle and the washer refuse to spin cycle...so were we bay the set replaced them both the new set work great and we hare really happy with them..super great....there is one think the dryer have no inside light which it is a bit disappointing my older LG had one.

This was the cheapest dryer I could find at the time. It works and has limited features. Im not a fan of LG products and Im glad I purchased the warranty. It has the worlds worst lint filter. I have to use toothpicks to get the lint out that sticks in the crevices around the sides of the filter. Im 67 years old and this is the worst lint filter design Ive ever seen. I really have to wonder if anybody tested this product before putting it out on the market.

Bought a house and needed to purchase a washer/dryer specifically a stacked set to fit in the space built for it. After some research landed on this set because of reviews size to fit into space and sale price. Works well so far when drying clothes. Quiet and doesnt shake Has a nice little trill that will notify you the cycle is done. We use dryer sheets and have had no issue with those working well in this dryer. Ive dried several loads of clothes towels sheets comforters and all have dried relatively well. With the heavier stuff it make take a little longer. Ive had to use timed drying instead of the presets with towels and comforters to get them dry but that isnt a deal breaker for me.

I am so happy to say LG came through. Our dryer that is only 7 months old stopped working. LG came out and fixed it without a fight. Other places are never this easy to deal with. LG appliances fir our household from here on out

I am on the third dryer at the moment. The first one arrived damaged internally and made a very loud thunking noise on each rotation of the drum. The second one I wouldnt allow off the truck because it looked like someone had entered it in a demolition derby not kidding unfortunately. The third dryer arrived in seemingly perfect condition but does not heat up at all. As an electrical engineer I know how to read a manual and use a volt meter and can say with certainty that there is a problem with the heating circuit internally to the unit. But LG is not approving a replacement and is insisting on sending a technician. They will probably want to replace components in situ and Ill be stuck with a lemon dryer that gives me nothing but problems until I send it to dump. I have spent the last 4 weeks dealing with this mess and now I will have to take more time off work to wait for a technician to tell me what I already know. This dryer is a total piece of crap. If you want to add stress to your life and waste a whole lot of time and money then by all means by this appliance from Home Depot.
