If you purchase something from LG know that you will be given very little information about delivery. If you schedule a day please know that it may or may not show up. Not sure if Im ever going to get my delivery. Have scheduled it twice and still not gotten any information. Called 3 times 2 different companies and everyone can see my order but nobody can tell me what to expect. Have taken off of work twice now.

I just wanted to come here to say i bought this washer and matching dryer a couple years ago to replace my hideous Speed queen. This Lg washer and matching dryer has been the best set i have ever owned Im a 59 year old women and had had several new sets through the years.

I bought this washer and a new dryer to replace my 15 year old LG machines. There was nothing wrong with the old machines except for some rust on the top. I thought it was also leaking water which stopped when i properly cleaned out the filer mechanism. It has required no servicing. The new machine is pretty much the same as the old one. The new machine works well and I have no complaints except for trying to hook it up to the app which is difficult. Looking forward to trying out the cold water wash cycle which is different from simply using the cold water setting. Based on the performance of the old machine this one should be great.

This is a large washer that works well.
There are plenty of options to tailor the wash cycle to specific needs including a pre-wash spin only and extra rinse functions.
The washer is quiet and cleans efficiently. Even the quick wash is effective.
This was a good solid purchase.

Unit gets moldy. Have thoroughly cleaned the detergent dispenser gasket and drum and still smells moldy and gives me a headache when near it. Will likely get rid of it for a top load washer that doesnt have a detergent dispenser.

I have had several front load washers. Direct drive and belt drive. The 10 year warranty on the motor is basically worthless. That part will likely never go I have taken them apart several times. It is the main bearing that dies. Replacing the bearing is a nightmare. Usually one is better off just to buy another machine. The bearing will usually go at about 5 years. If they would spend a little more and put in a better bearing to begin with they could last 20 years. But as with everything else in our world cheap crap always wins because it makes the most money.

Bought this a month ago...I love it but the smell coming from the rubber gasket is more than I can bear. I pray it eases up with time...if not they need to replace this one. I know rubber off gases but this is not just a rubber smell. Staying hopeful.

1st day using this machine. I studied this for 6 months paid attention to every detail looked for the limited features I actually wanted and mulled over size finally deciding on this huge baby. Next getting familiar by washing 6 big bath towels. Success. Then a tub clean with a Tide cleaner packet. While the tub still smells new the clothes coming out are immaculate. Lets hope this keeps up. I highly suggest watching the videos on YouTube they are very helpful.

I think this machine was designed for save water there is no reason to buy a big machine a big machine because I bought a big one and I only can wash a little bit clothes and use a heavy duty cicle thats mean I spend more power and water using extra rinse one it .

This machine gives constant u5 errors when washing sheets. It wads them up in a ball no matter how you place them in the washer. Its like the impellers are to small. Its not anything as good as my old lg.

I bought this after my 12 year old LG top loader died. Since l was having unbalance load problems with the older washer I thought that a bigger capacity front loader would solve my problems. Nope. I have had my washer for a couple of weeks and the loads are even smaller than before. I never had unbalanced load issues with my previous washer until after I had it over a decade. Now in order to have a complete cycle without interruptions I now have to do multiple small loads. Not what I expect for a large capacity washer.

Just purchased. Very quiet washer compared to our old one. Washes fine no major complaints other than a major anti-consumer feature in that the preset values water temp spin duration etc can only be overridden for the current cycle and those changes will NOT be saved. So the next time you run a load you have to remember to manually change those settings. This is our 4th front loader in the last 20 years and the only one that doesnt remember setting changes between loads. No idea why. Seems like major miss by LG in an otherwise great washer.

I wish I had never bought this washer. It has a smell that will not go away. I checked with Best Buy but my 60 days had expired. I contacted the manufacturer LG. They told me I needed to clean the tub door gasket and soap dispenser after each cycle. It is crazy unbelievable to think the washer needs that much work to use daily. They made it seem like I needed to do more to try and remove the smell. They tried to blame our houses old plumbing. The house is under five years old and I have been a plumber for over nine years. I would not buy an LG product. The customer support from LG was terrible and once the service rep disconnected rather than continue with me. I reconnected with a different rep and they were equally bad.

I would give this washer and LG zero stars if I could. We purchased our washer in October 2023 installed November 2023. It was working ok for a while. We moved to a new home in May 2024. After the move we tried to run a cycle to clean the tub. There was some kind of malfunction and the washer never stopped filling with water. My husband heard it as the water started overflowing out the front. It flooded a massive amount of water into our laundry room leaking down through the floors into our basement. We now have a laundry room renovation on top of moving to a new house. We have been in contact with LG and they have been unconcerned and unhelpful with a solution. They are pretty much taking a too bad so sad mentality instead of providing high quality customer service. Prior to purchasing our washer I read reviews and ignored the negative ones which I now regret. If you get one of these washers and it works the way its supposed to thats great. Just be aware that if something goes wrong you are on your own to fix or replace it.. LG does not care.

Replaced a 13 year old LG washer for this ginormous one I love it. my only regret was that I didnt get the wifi option. I had to recently replace my old LG dryer and got the dryer with wifi I have had this washer for 9 months now and its been great. I cant believe how much i can load this up. It is super quiet so quiet I have to go in and check to make sure I actually turned it on.

Bought this washer about 9 months ago. I replaced an old LG about 13 years old This washer is very large. in fact it hold a lot of clothes that my 13 yo dryer couldnt handle. Just replaced the old dryer for a larger LG with wifi. that is the only thing i regret about purchasing this model is the lack of wifi. everything else is great with this washer. I love it

This is the first front loader I have ever used and it has been the best washer I have ever used and believe me I have used many brands over the years. I especially noticed how soft our bath towels have been and how much cleaner our clothes are. As for quiet you can hardly hear it running. I absolutely love this machine.

Purchased the matching set in November and had it delivered and set up late December. The washer is relatively easy to use with the exception of the spin cycle. I have found that most of the clothes are still pretty wet after the cycle is complete. Followed the loading instructions and still pretty wet. Had to manually change the spin cycle to either high or the setting just below for them to wring out properly.

I purchased this about three weeks ago. Im very happy I did. The wife is happy I did and thats what makes me happy and its a nice unit. Its my second LG appliance and even the old when Im gonna repair and say I just couldnt do it in the timely matter so I bought the new one but regardless I will keep this one and install it as well so that she can use two machines if she likes it works beautifully washes everything nicely. So far its what I wanted in a new washer: quieter than my old machine efficient intuitive controls and a good value. This is the third LG appliance that Ive purchased in the past 2 years but the first Ive purchased direct from LG. Based on this recent experience I will not purchased another item direct from LG. I tried to create a customer account but ran into problems and the problem appeared to be internal to LGs website. Multiple attempts to get the problem resolved failed. I was told the problem was fixed but it wasnt. Ive given up on getting someone at LG to get back in touch with me. There also was a problem with the delivery. The delivery service called the day before to give me a 4-hour window and said I would receive a call 30 minutes before arrival. I did not receive a call until the truck arrived. I reminded the driver that there was an old washer that needed to be removed. In spite of 2 additional reminders the delivery men proceeded to bring the new washer into the house up to the laundry room door. They seemed surprised to see the old washer. After removing the old washer and installing the new one the driver asked if I wanted to old machine left in the garage. I explained again that I had paid extra to have the old one removed and hauled off. Later when I ran the first load I discovered the installers had not turned the water on.
